We all know Tommy Hilfiger for its all-American style, colours and casual yet chic apparel. In true American style, the brand has made steps to be more inclusive, creating an adaptive clothing line for the disabled. This Summer, the American apparel brand is setting the stage for rising artists, like Paloma Ford (@palomaford) and IAMDDB (@iamddb), and models/influencers T-Bone (@tbonefletcher) and Rei (@reialise), featuring them as the face of its Summer 2018 TOMMY JEANS capsule campaign.
The collection is built on denim essentials, so we get classics like jackets and a light blue dungaree dress. We also get the iconic sweaters, sailing jackets and even a bucket hat – the perfect collection for anyone into street fashion. However, the collection comes with a twist – bright neon yellows are added for a pop of colour (perfect for Summer) and the brand pays homage to its sailing heritage by revamping its logo into a modern nautical-style flag.
The collection is perfect to throw together a lazy school outfit, a casual day in town or even a night out, especially if you include the mesh tops. We love how the collection looks timeless – we can definitely picture our parents wearing it in the 90’s and our friends wearing it out on the streets today, so we have a feeling this collection will look on-point even 10 years down the road.
The Summer 2018 TOMMY JEANS capsule collection is available at select TOMMY HILFIGER and TOMMY JEANS stores, select wholesale partners and online at tommy.com.
