But in today’s digital age, being prudent extends beyond your wallet, and into your monthly phone bill as well—you’ve got to keep track of that monthly data usage. With limited data, there’re only so many stories you can post, hearts to double-tap, music to stream, and videos to watch.
Enter Singtel’s latest tie-up with Apple Music, a paid streaming service with a catalog of over 45 million songs. According to the company, customers will have the freedom to stream or download music or videos “without taking a byte off their monthly mobile data allowance”. This means that you can now stream music and videos on-the-go without using your precious data.
Available from today (31 Mar), Singtel users can enjoy data-free streaming with Apple Music for just $9.98 per month. In addition, new and re-contracting Singtel mobile customers can enjoy six months of free subscription with no minimum contract.
Besides enjoying music on-the-go, the ad-free streaming platform will also offer exclusive music videos, documentaries, and concerts of various artists, including Beats 1, which is a global live stream of radio shows. Users can also share playlists with friends—basically providing hours of data-free entertainment.
The data-free Apple Music is available on iOS and Android devices, including Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Celluar). Customers can sign up at all Singtel Shops, or at singtel.com/datafreeapplemusic.
