We’re Going Gaga Over Gucci’s Revamped Store and New Items

If you’re a ‘towner’ (slang for someone who goes to Orchard Road regularly), you would not have missed Gucci’s flagship store at Paragon. Previously following a warmer colour scheme, the store used to glow golden from natural light. It has now been replaced with a marble façade that looks whimsical and futuristic (especially at night!).

Gucci’s Flagship Store at Paragon

Don’t judge a store by its exterior though. Step inside the newly revamped store and you will be left speechless by the pastel pink walls and vintage printed rugs. Head up the wooden staircase to the second floor and you will be greeted by varnished iron walls and ready-to-wear Gucci. The second floor also features a bespoke client space, decorated with vivid hue of pink and mosaic flooring.

DIY Area at the Second Level

Guests can personalise their products at the DIY station. The store’s combination of traditional and modern features complements Gucci’s Pre-Fall collection and we only have creative director Alessandro Michele to thank.

GUCCI Home Décor

For Gucci fans who want to dress their homes up in peculiar prints and patterns, wait no more. Gucci Home Décor has been launched to coincide with Gucci Paragon’s refurbished store. It is a collection of foldable tables, chairs, folding screens, porcelain tableware, cushions and candles.

Chairs

This porter’s chair is inspired by the medieval times and comes in either leather or velvet, with a drawer at the bottom. Fun fact: It takes 64 hours to complete the entire chair. Grandma will definitely approve of the funky, brightly coloured prints!

Ceramics

Vases (from $5680)

To celebrate the rich culture of Italian art, Michele teamed up with Richard Ginori to develop a range of handsome vases. These vases are hand-painted and the process of ceramic firing requires manual adeptness.

Crockery, no matter the design, will always be timeless. The set features green-on-white Herbarium floral prints. Way too pretty to be used!

Cushions

Cushions (from $1720)

There is no better way to decorate your house than to fill it with Gucci cushions. Illustrations of eccentric characters are cross-stitched across the cushions, available in various shapes and sizes. Another reason to invite guests over!

Candles

Candles (from $440)
Incense holders (from $330)

The candle and incense holders display House patterns and animals from the Gucci Garden. Freshen up your house with notes of ancient damask rose, birch, beeswax, freesia, leather and salt. Five scents are what Gucci is offering – but five scents are all we need.

Pre-Fall Collection

Gucci is winning at yet another collection. Featuring bright colours, quirky prints, vintage looking graphics, and animals from the Gucci Garden, each piece is beautifully crafted and carefully thought through.

Women’s

We just can’t seem to get over the primary colours and big logos on Gucci’s latest collection. Inspired by the 1980s, each item has its own unique selling point. We are fascinated at the fact that Gucci manages to turn ordinary everyday items into something luxurious.

Men’s

Not differing much from the women’s collection, the men’s collection also includes hats, shoes and bags. These versatile pieces seem like they are for both genders, making them interchangeable. The brand has also collaborated with Major League Baseball to produce revamped New York Yankees’ caps.

Other Items

By mixing textures and colours, the collection caters to many occasions. Huge bees on handbags, bejeweled ‘G’s on gold chains, sliders, and chunky dad shoes. Need we say more?
