New Balance Launches Sneakers AND Sandals This Summer

New Balance is launching both sneakers AND sandals this summer, which even includes a collaboration with Jay Chou’s brand, Phantaci. Talk about putting your best foot forward. Designed with comfort technology as well as with a keen stylish aesthetic, here are the newest kicks from New Balance.

NEW BALANCE X PHANTACI COLLAB

New Balance has joined hands with popular Taiwan streetwear label, Phantaci, a brand founded by Jay Chou himself. The collab features classic black apparel that taps on the athleisure trend, and three New Balance X Phantaci Sneakers.

The sneakers, retailing at S$199, are both comfortable and aesthetic, and might up your street cred.

Also, you know, real men wear pink.

Minimalist and clean, the New Balance X Phantaci is sporty, slick, and also easy to match.

If you’re looking for a pop of colour to the wardrobe though, one design also features bright and vibrant colourways that stand in contrast to the ‘N’
emblem. It’s fun and eye-catching, and also a little playful in its look.

New Balance x Phantaci also features bolder colours.

The 247v2 features a medical TPU stability post that draws inspiration from New Balance’s Rollbar technology. Basically, it provides more stability and more support especially for rear foot movement. The outsole of the shoe mixes current performance aesthetic with New Balance’s 247 DNA. Additionally, the sneaker’s REVlite midsole means that it offers greater comfort as well (in case you were wondering what REVlite is, it’s a lightweight foam compound that helps to cushion).

The New Balance X Phantaci sneakers are available now in Phantaci stores, and in New Balance Experience Stores (specifically Bugis Junction & Paragon) for S$199.

The New Balance <TEST_Run> PRJ 1.0 was designed as running shoe, but is also stylish and real neat. The sneaker is part of <TEST_RUN>, a programme launched by New Balance in December 2017 that welcomes consumer opinion in creating and designing the shoe.

These limited edition sneakers consist of a full length Abzorb midsole, nestled in Acteva support rims to provide that are both responsive and lightweight. The upper knit build of the shoe also offers a good fit and optimal support. Rubber outsoles with deliberate, engineered cutouts also support running by cushioning weight in low areas.

The <TEST_RUN> PRJ 1.0s are in limited availability. Available now at New Balance Experience stores at Paragon, Bugis Junction and Suntec City, for a limited time only. Each pair costs S$169.
