All The Recent Disney Collaborations That We Have Been Obsessing Over

If there is one thing in the world that is loved by the young and old — it would be Disney. Movie after movie, we just can’t get enough of their catchy tunes and the characters’ infectious laughter.

Which is why so many fashion and lifestyle brands are fussing over Mickey, Minnie or the ever-evolving line of Disney Princesses. Here’s a fun fact: Disney’s first collaboration with clothes was a fashion show held in 1978 called ‘The Evolution of American Women’.

With Mickey Mouse’s upcoming 90th birthday in November this year, we’ve put together a list of Disney’s biggest collaborations with everyone’s favourite brands.

POH HENG X MICKEY MOUSE

Left to right: Shine Like Mickey Bracelet ($1, 100), Oh It’s Mickey Necklace ($980), Shine Like Mickey & Minnie Earrings ($450)

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of our favourite mouse, Singapore jeweller, Poh Heng has collaborated with TWDC SEA Disney to present us with a gorgeous jewellery line. Adorn your body with exquisite pieces— either in 18K white gold or 22K yellow gold. Coming in two key styles, Mickey and Minnie’s silhouettes are encrusted with diamonds. Be it blinging up an extravagant outfit or completing a casual one, the minimalistic design makes it a perfect accessory. If diamonds are your best friend, then this collection is definitely for you.

NIXON X MICKEY MOUSE

Left to right: Sentry SS Mickey Fight Cloud, Arrow Leather Mickey, Corporal Mickey Arms

There really isn’t a better way to find out if you’re a true Mickey fan, than to check out Nixon’s latest ‘Mickey the True Original’ collection. Tiny details make up each watch, like Mickey Mouse’s ears on the eyelet holes (and did you notice Mickey’s buttons detail on the clasp?). Talk about hidden Mickeys! The watch collection also features a rare multi-layered dial application. We bet that you will have fun looking out for Mickey’s characteristics like how the team at Nixon had fun designing the collection.

UNIQLO X MICKEY MOUSE

We love Uniqlo for their basic pieces, and even more so for their not-so-basic pieces. Designer Kate Moross managed to make every piece from the Love & Mickey Mouse collection unique and crazily colourful. We also found out which one’s her favourite piece from the collection! Coming in a slightly oversized fit, the Women’s line features similar prints to the Kids’ line. The squiggly doodles are eye-catching and like no other.

And get ready to twin with your child with the Mini Melissa shoes, which are easy to wash and great for Summer. Let’s take a moment to admire the cute appliques at the toes!

CATH KIDSTON X DISNEY

Left to right: Snow White Forest Scene Kids Mini Rucksack, Snow White Dwarfs And Blossom PJ Set, Snow White Tall Tote

The British brand has always been popular with Singaporeans, so we can imagine the disappointment when they pulled out of our local markets last year — not to matter though. Now, the brand is back, and better than ever. In celebration of Cath Kidston’s 25th anniversary, the brand launched the Alice in Wonderland x Cath Kidston range in early May. Next up, they’ve got a Snow White collection, which will be available from 20th September. We adore the whimsical prints and pretty pastels on the Dwarfs And Blossom PJ Set. The Snow White Forest Scene Kids Mini Rucksack features some of Snow White’s most prominent characters. With a pink backdrop, flowers, and forest animals all over the bag, we can’t help but wish we were a kid again!

The company best known for donating one pair of shoes for every new purchase of TOMS shoes has come up with four different styles (Alpargatas, Lenny Sneakers, Carmel Sneakers & TOMS Classics) of TOMS footwear. And they all feature magical artworks from an all-female team of artists. TOMS went into the Walt Disney Archives and featured original sketches from classic Disney films. What’s best is, some of the shoes are made without animal ingredients or by-products, making them vegan-friendly!
