It's The Biggest Pop Culture Party With Moschino x H&M

A condom wrapper-shaped bag. Disney motifs printed on sweaters and mesh tops. Sequins, gold chains and loud accessories. This is what to expect from the Moschino x H&M collab, that will be dropping on 8 Nov.

Can’t picture these clothing items on yourself? Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott has gathered his friends (and one dog) to model in the new designs for a lookbook. This fun ~~party~~ project includes the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Aquaria; Twin influencers, Aya and Ami; Jeremy Scott’s assistant at Moschino, Sakura Bready; and Jeremy’s best friend, Pablo Olea.

“Whenever I design, I think about my friends. The Moschino [tv] H&M lookbook is like a party; celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity and the energy of the people and the collection, “says Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino.

We only have one word to describe the overall style of this collection: wack. The accessories have blown up proportions — like the huge peace sign earrings and oversized backpack. Jeremy playfully incorporates everyday items into the collection, so don’t be surprised when you chance upon the condom necklace and padlock bag.

This collection is a far cry from last year’s elegant floral dresses and exquisite lace blouses in H&M’s collab with Erdem. Hints of Moschino signatures can be seen everywhere throughout the collection — like the disco prints, teddy bear phone case and Moschino’s leather jacket bag (which now comes in a mini version!).

H&M has also launched Moschino [tv] H&M giphy stickers on Instagram Stories, Snapchat and iMessenger for users to add to their own content.

It’s all glitz and glamour with the Moschino x H&M Women collection. So visually appealing! Casual stuff like sweaters and joggers got an upgrade — blinged up with leather, sequins and gold, they are now considered glamorous streetwear.

We’re absolutely lovin’ the bright colours and bold prints on the Moschino x H&M Men collection. Though, we reckon that the Men collection looks somewhat safer, if you are not one for controversial clothes.
