It’s Time To Think Pink This October

In a global effort to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, October has been designated the Pink Month! Every year, breast cancer survivors and supporters come together as one, to rally their support by raising public awareness and education about Breast Cancer which affects thousands of woman every year. This time round, Estée Lauder Companies is back as the leading voice for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and is embarking on a mission to create a breast cancer-free world.

This year, the annual Breast Cancer Campaign led by The Estée Lauder Companies, is focused on the concept of time and the effect that breast cancer has from both personal and universal point of views. Believe it or not, for every 19 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with breast cancer. As unfortunate as it may sound, this does come as a wake-up call for anyone, especially women, to go for their annual health screenings for early detection.

In support of the movement by Estée Lauder Companies, the four beauty brands under its portfolio — Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estée Lauder and Origins, are doing their part by selling limited-edition Pink Ribbon products to raise funds for the cause. Proceeds from sales will be contributed to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) that will be used for further research and education of the disease.
