Plane Crazy was the first ever Disney cartoon that was created to feature Mickey Mouse, the ‘True Original’ back in 1982. This landmark moment has laid out the foundation for the animated world of Disney that we know of today!

If you were a huge fan of the ASICS FABRE POINT GETTER, you’ll love the GEL-PTG, which comes in both low and mid-top iterations for this collaboration! Monochromatic stills from Plane Crazy are featured on the sides and the upper of the shoe, giving it a real old-school retro vibe. They come with a rubber sole just like the basketball shoes of the 80’s!
These also come in 3 different styles featuring different scenes from the animation! The first two design features the detail of Mickeyʼs first flight on the toe box. The third will see a black print of Mickey and Minnie on the side alongside the iconic ASICS Stripes.

The GEL-LYTE HIKARI takes on a red, white and black colour scheme to pay homage to our OG Disney character! It even has a Mickey Monogram printed all over the shoe! This particular model is a reinvention from the Original GEL-LYTE model, it is designed to be more lightweight and with improved mobility in mind.
