It’s not just fashion that has a love affair with the warm hue, but our makeup looks as well. Although we don’t fancy subscribing to every trend, we do relish in experimenting with them. What will you wear? (This.) What makeup should you buy? (This.) This colour may have been born ready for your glamorous selfies, but its pretty face has also extended into some hidden holiday gems. We’re talking travel destinations that are decked out in this OTT shade.

The names that landed on our radar were these joints here, showing off impressive landmarks that are at once unique, sensational, and refreshing. And, since sharing is caring, here are the 5 Living Coral destinations that warrant hashtagging your Instagram snap with #aestheticgoals.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Why you should visit: Prolonged sunshine, neon-coloured totems, road trips out to the desert — there are many reasons to love the Seven Magic Mountains, but the perfect ‘gram background probably ranks above all. The public art installation is made up of seven colourful stacked boulders (that are over 9m tall), some of which mimic the coral shade.

LA MURALLA ROJA

Location: Calp, Spain
Why you should visit: You’d be hard pressed to find a building decked out in such a vibrant and artsy colour. Perched on rocky cliffs, this architectural landmark is one of the best kept secrets in Spain, with glimpses of the sea owing to its breathtaking view. Fair warning: As this is an apartment complex, locals might not be as welcoming to tourists.

HAWA MAHAL

Location: Jaipur, India
Why you should visit: Known as the “Palace of the Winds”, the gem of Jaipur impresses with its 200 years of history and rosy sandstone colours. The rich culture in “The Pink City” is booming, and you’ll be served with interior inspo on top of your Insta-opportunities.

Location: New York, USA
Why you should visit: Millennials have been flocking to this retro café in New York City and it’s not hard to see why. Maybe it was the pretty-in-pink decor adapted in the 360, the peach-coloured entryway (basically a fancy AF outdoor seating area begging to be Instagrammed), or their hearty Italian cuisine.

AMANJENA

Location: Marrakech, Morocco
Why you should visit: This picturesque rose-hued resort in the vibrant city of Marrakech cuts a striking silhouette, especially during sunrise. Architectural lovers should put this resort on their bucket list, as its ancient-style interiors and courtyards reign supreme.
