The Coolest Tech Gadgets Unveiled At The 2019 Consumer Electronics Show

The word “Bandersnatch” has been casually exchanged over our morning cuppa. Cue the ten seconds of comparing poor Stefan’s life choices. Reflecting on the interactive nature of the film got us thinking about new tech gadgets and how they can “influence” our lives (for the better, of course).

Naturally, we turned to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The annual CES is like the tech’s World Cup. With a rollout of buzzed-about tech merch on the market (several of them ringing up in the triple digits), our red packets couldn’t come sooner enough. And because we’re tech-snobbish, there are a few undisputable boxes an impressive tech gadget has to tick: innovative, stylish, game-changing experience.

While still proving their clout as the heavyweights of worthy tech gadgets to buy in 2019, we’ve rounded up our favourites below.

WORLD’S FIRST ROLLABLE TV

LG Signature OLED TV R (model65R9)

LG Electronics has been known for its televisions, and the brand recently released the world’s first rollable OLED TV that’s stealing the show in 2019. With a touch of a button, its unique function allows the 65-inch TV to rise and roll-up into a full screen. Acting much like a shutter gate with a display that seems to magically appear and disappear, it gives TV viewers the ability to design their ideal viewing space in Full View, Line View or Zero View.

Full View
The fullest extent of this TV, users can even control the display with just their voice through Amazon Alexa. Bonus: You can sync and play videos, music, and picture slideshows directly from your Apple device.

Line View
If a full screen doesn’t tickle your fancy, this viewing option has a three-fold effect: It allows the screen to be partially displayed while providing a mood mode and still illustrating the time and weather.

Zero View
As the name suggests, the screen is hidden away in the base and instantly maximises your space, all while still enjoying music.

Its precision dial, a new tool that can easily select or adjust features like brush stroke or opacity, allows you to multitask with both hands. The best part? WORLD’S SMALLEST GAMING LAPTOP

tech gadgets
Razer Blade 15 Gaming Laptop

The Razer Blade 15 laptop has a 15.6-inch screen making it the world’s smallest gaming laptop, ideal for gaming on-the-go. Though the basic form is the same, the reinvented graphics, colour accuracy, and lightweight design sets it apart from the competition. We’re talking NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series graphics to enhance the visual experience and utilising GDDR6 memory for faster memory processing. The only caveat: We heard it might run you a pretty penny.
