Streetwear Meets Opulence in the KITH X VERSACE Spring Summer 2019 Capsule Collection

What’s better than flaunting one brand? Flaunting two, at the same time!  This February, that opportunity comes in the form of the KITH X VERSACE Spring Summer 2019 Capsule Collection, so fans of the ever-popular logomania trend better sit up!

The NYC streetwear retailer Kith, since being founded in 2010 by designer Ronnie Fieg, has gained renown for its sneaker collaborations. In this collaboration however, it is more than just sneakers as Kith reimagines Versace in a stunning, edged-up collection with ample streetwear features, unprecedented of the fashion powerhouse. The collection taps into Versace’s wealth of decadent prints and silhouettes, but centre stage belongs, of course, to the iconic Medusa logo. This time featuring the Kith logo across the eyes, the redesigned logo shows that Kith and Versace truly worked hand-in-hand to produce the final collection.

We are so feeling it, and are completely spoilt for choice by the wide assortment of pieces, from formal wear to sportswear, outerwear and so much more! Kith X Versace isn’t afraid to mix it up– the menswear range boasts decadent velour puffer jackets and silk blazers, side-by-side edgy denim zip jackets and laid-back nylon track suits and hoodies.

While there are some parallels in the womens’ range, for instance, a show-stopping convertible long velour puffer jacket, ladies are also treated to additional items like biker shorts, mesh tees, and an array of swimsuits and bras.

Oh, and did we mention? This collection has got everything covered, right down to footwear. This includes a #throwback to the 90s Amico Trainer, given a fresh update from its OG mid-top design to feature a low cut version as well. As if it couldn’t get better, the Trainer comes in five (five!) variations between pony hair, leather, low cut and mid-top.  The cherry on top is Chain Reaction, a high-top sneaker featuring velour accents; all-around luxury.

For the ladies, stay effortlessly chic in the leather stiletto mule. The shoes are minimal in the best way, classy yet sexy, courtesy of Kith X Versace gold accents.

The Kith X Versace Collection is produced in Italy with a variety of custom fabrics. Gold accents and other hardware are similarly custom produced to showcase both brands.
