This Season’s Luxury Sneakers From Moschino, Burberry, Versace And More!

With so many new sneakers being released every week, we’re spoilt for choice. A good pair of sneakers are sure to bring you places, whether you’re going to be travelling the world or just meeting up with your neighbourhood friends. If you like to splurge on style, we’ve rounded up a few luxury choices that are just screaming to be walked in.

We’re not sneaking around with these shoes, and neither should you. These kicks were made for showing off, and here are the perfect pairs to do that for you.

Moschino

An updated, limited edition rendition of Jeremy Scott’s Teddy Shoes are back for Fall Winter 2019 with a neon explosion. The Fluo Teddy ($860) brings us mixed materials of suede, high-tech mesh, metal rivets and rock climbing straps, on top of new highlighter pink, green, yellow and orange colourways.

These adorably chunky kicks are giving us some serious back-to-school vibes, reminiscent of the Moschino x Sephora makeup collection that was launched earlier this year. A pair of these might just be the highlight of your outfits this summer.

Available online and at Moschino boutiques.

Pedder Group x Golden Goose Deluxe Brand

Asian multi-brand footwear and accessories specialist Pedder Group has teamed up with Italian label Golden Goose Deluxe Brand to bring us two limited edition pairs of sneakers, in the style of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand’s “superstar” models.

Each low-platform pair features the Pedder Group’s hashtag #BEYONDESIRE boldly etched across the side of the rubber soles, laces that feature the text ‘Golden Goose Sneakers’, along with the brand’s signature scuff marks and star logo. Resembling a sneaker straight out of your high school wardrobe with marker-like outlines on the edges, the Ballstar ($760) brings us right back to the days when we used to doodle on our school shoes. On the other hand, the futuristic Superstar ($820) is coated with metallic shades of silver and cobalt blue, bringing Star Wars’ R2-D2 to mind. Either way, this capsule collection is sure to be the star of your outfit.

Available exclusively at On Pedder boutiques.

Burberry

Designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, Burberry has debuted its first-ever Monogram collection, and along with it, a pair of low-top monogrammed sneakers.

The Monogram Stripe E-canvas Sneakers ($720) are made out of an environmentally conscious e-canvas, printed with Burberry’s TB initials and topped off with their Monogram stripe. The material is primarily made using renewable resources, requiring less water and producing less carbon dioxide, a much more sustainable manufacturing process compared to that of conventional coated canvases.

With the option to help the environment out while looking great, it’s going to be tough to say no to these closet staples.

Available online and at Burberry boutiques.

Versace

The dad shoe trend is very much alive, and the Versace Chain Reaction family has absolutely embodied this. With the Cross Chainer sneakers ($1180) as the newest addition to the collection, we’re introduced to a fresh take on the Versace identity.

A mix of neoprene, mesh and rubber, these light runner sneakers might actually have you running. The chain link rubber outsole not only distinguishes the sneaker as a part of the Chain Reaction family, but provides enough cushioning for wearers to go all out in these kicks. The new addition of neon and fluorescent colourways in combination with the iconic Chain Reaction details really spices things up with this new collection, topped off with the bold braille “Power” lettering on the toe.

Longchamp

Looks like this summer is the season for monograms — Longchamp has brought us three new tennis shoes with their LGP collection. These laceless sneakers come in two variations, the Le Pliage LGP Sneaker and the Le Pliage Cuir LGP Sneaker. The Le Pliage LGP Sneaker, like the rest of the Le Pliage collection, feature an all-over graphic monogram print on the neoprene upper. On the other hand, the Le Pliage Cuir LGP Sneaker features the woven monogram in jacquard lettering on breathable stretch fabric. Streetwear-inspired and minimalist, both variations are perfect to dress up or dress down.

The Le Pliage LGP Sneaker is only available at Longchamp boutiques, while the Le Pliage Cuir LGP Sneaker in White is only available online. The Le Pliage Cuir LGP Sneaker in Black is available online and at Longchamp boutiques.

Roger Vivier

Inspired by their signature Belle Vivier, Roger Vivier has introduced the Viv’ Run ($1350) and the Viv’ Run Strass Buckle ($1860) for Spring Summer 2019, combining the best aspects of high fashion and athletic wear. With sixteen colour combinations, it’s highly likely you’ll find something in this collection to go with pretty much anything in your closet.

The campaign images alone are incredible — who would’ve thought that something so sporty could look so elegant at the same time?

These sports shoes are given a touch of glamour with either a solid rubber or crystal-embellished signature buckle replacing traditional shoe laces. Paired with the 3-dimensional pattern around the heel and sides of the sole, there’s an almost perfect combination of texture that dress up the sneaker just a right amount. Take a look at most of the collection below. For all colourways, visit their website or boutiques.

Maison Margiela

Is your outfit ever complete without a little personal customisation? With the latest addition to Maison Margiela’s Replica Sneaker ($897), you’re free to customise to your heart’s content. The shoe arrives completely blank and includes three markers of red, blue and black.

Some may wonder why anyone would want to spend a bomb on these sneakers just to doodle on them, but hey — you’re getting a pair of great white leather sneakers, with the option to add your own spin to it. What’s not to love?

For something a little more atypical, Maison Margiela has also released their New Future Laminated High-Top Sneakers (USD 1,190). After multiple Future reworks, including a completely destroyed rendition, these suede and foam sneakers laminated in polyurethane absolutely scream “New Future”.

Maison Margiela’s Replica Sneaker is available online at LUISAVIAROMA, and the New Future Laminated High-Top Sneaker (USD 1,190) is available online at Bergdorf Goodman.

Acne Studios

Taking inspiration from hiking and outdoor footwear, Acne Studios has released the Bolzter Technical sneakers. With all the bulkiness of a dad shoe combined with Scandinavian chicness, we’re so ready to stomp around in these.

Unfortunately, it seems like the Bolzter collection is only available in women’s sizes for now, but with a Tumbled White edition of the men’s Bolzter set to release soon, hopefully the other colourways will be soon to follow.

Another new addition this season are the reformed Perey sneakers. These panelled leather lace ups are giving us some serious bowling shoe vibes with the green and yellow colourways, while keeping it classic with the solid white, black and red colourways.

Available online and at Acne Studios boutiques.

KITH x Tommy Hilfiger

Alright, for all you sneakerheads who have stuck with us so far, this one might be the one for you. KITH and Tommy Hilfiger have collaborated to bring back the Hyperbole as part of the KITH x Tommy Hilfiger SS19 collection. Although we’re sure you’re as excited about the collection as we are, here’s the best part — it retails for only USD 120. This is definitely the most affordable pair of luxury sneakers on our list, and one of the most exciting collaborations.

For the first time since the Hyperbole was released in the late 90’s, it’s finally making a comeback with all the things we loved about the original with an additional subtle twist. Keeping the OG white leather upper, puffed embroidered flag logo and sport mesh panels, the KITH x Tommy Hilfiger co-branding can be spotted on the tongue, insole and outsole. This red, white and blue number is going to tie your entire summer closet together without draining your pockets.

Available online and at KITH boutiques.
