The Glasshouse: Specialty Coffee and Toast Bar

This café is real estate gold. Its minimalistic, Scandi-chic decor invites you in with comfy lounging nooks, banana peanut butter toast and the aromatic scent of a smooth flat white coffee. Count us in.

“This cafe at Chijmes is my all-time favourite, especially their flat whites and hot chocolate. I always use instastory and upload pictures using their free wifi! Might just spend a little too much time there.”— Sarah, Travel Agent

Bookmark for friendly staff, fast wifi and expertly-curated coffee. This joint rides it out of the park with their very own in-house coffee and also by regularly rotating and sourcing new brews from around the world. Fancy a selection from Columbia? Consider your needs taken care of.

“I head there usually before work and order their Ethiopian coffee. I have had small client meetings there before and the wifi really does aid in that area. ”— Belle, Interior Designer

Percolate Coffee

This coffeehouse attempts to ease your daily frustration with their extensive menu of comfort food and drinks,  plus a wifi-friendly space. Aside from coconut lattes and matcha milo dinosaur, they serve up some western and Asian-inspired dishes like unagi soba. Consider us impressed.

“Where do I start? Their coconut chocolate, espresso milkshake and kaya croissants are on my rotation list. The space isn’t as roomy as I’d like it to be, but having free wifi to do my work makes it worth going. Others really need to get on that.”— Eman, Personal assistant

Common Man Coffee Roasters

Giving other coffeehouses a run for their money, this place offers an all-day brunch menu… seven days a week (think: brioche french toast and organic eggs benedict). Another plus point: its sustainably sourced coffee status. With their free wifi, on-the-go folks can do their thing with plenty of personal space to spare.

“It really is frustrating when a cafe doesn’t offer free wifi. I feel like they are so behind when customers really appreciate the little things like this. There would be more customers, for sure. I have a sweet spot for their nitro cold brew!”— William, Public Relations Executive
