All The ‘Stranger Things’ Collaborations That’ll Have Your Wallet Turned Upside Down

The hit Netflix series Stranger Things is back for Season 3, and if you’ve been counting down to July 4th like us, know that your binge-watching session starts today! To celebrate, here are a few Stranger Things collaborations so cool that you might almost be willing to face a Demogorgon to get your hands on them. Almost.

Levi’s® x Stranger Things

Vintage Fit Trucker ($169.90)

As a massive staple of 1980s fashion, it’s only fitting that the residents of Hawkins are decked out in Levi’s® products. For Fall/Winter 2019, denim giant Levi’s® has partnered up with Stranger Things to bring us a capsule collection with pieces for both men and women, including two in-show looks. Worn by fan-favourite characters Eleven and Dustin, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo respectively, you’ll be able to wear a complete, authentically recreated Levi’s® look from the show. Eleven wears the El Aztec Shirt ($89.90) and the El Pleated Jeans ($169.90), while Dustin wears the Camp No Where Ringer Tee Shirt ($49.90).

In-show looks (L-R): Camp No Where Ringer Tee Shirt ($49.90), El Aztec Shirt ($89.90), El Pleated Jeans ($169.90)

On top of the in-show looks, the collection consists of a range of clothing featuring various aspects of the series, including our personal favourite, a one-of-a-kind Levi’s® Batwing tee that features the Stranger Things title graphics. Maintaining a clean balance between the brand and the series, this extremely wearable collaboration is definitely one of the best we’ve seen.

Nike x Stranger Things

At Nike, 1985 was the year the now-iconic visible Air was starting to take shape, and with Season 3 being set in the summer of the same year, it’s only natural that the iconic Nike branding would be making an appearance. This collaborative capsule collection highlights the classic silhouettes of the Cortez, Blazer and Tailwind, which have remained sport and style staples to this day.

Clockwise: Nike x Hawkins High Cortez ($199), Nike x Hawkins High Air Tailwind 79 ($199)

The first drop of the collaboration, which was launched June 27th, incorporates a green and orange colour scheme, channeling the essence of Hawkins High, along with the use of their Tiger mascot. With sweatsuits and tees reminiscent of 80s gym uniforms, along with three pairs of matching sneakers, it’s like we’ve been transported to the Hawkins High locker room.

A second drop of shoes, dubbed the OG Collection, landed July 1st, with a thematic red, white and blue colour scheme — perfect for the 4th of July celebration. Each shoe also celebrates 1985 Independence Day with a special firework display sock liner, along with a year marker on the heel.

The Nike x Stranger Things collection is available at NikeLab Dover Street Market Singapore and on Nike.com.

Stranger Things x H&M

Another fashion collaboration we love is the Stranger Things x H&M collection that came out earlier this season. The poolside-ready collection starring Dacre Montgomery, who portrays Billy Hargrove, simply calls out for us to join him at the Hawkins community pool. Consisting of a red, white and black palette across a series of graphic tops, swimwear and other summery gear, why not deck yourself out in this collab while watching the season premiere by your local pool?

Take a look at the entire collection below.

The Stranger Things x H&M collection is currently available exclusively at H&M Orchard Building and VivoCity as well as hm.com.

Polaroid – Stranger Things Edition

We’ve pretty much been transported back to the 80s with the collaborations so far, but how about bringing the 80s to us? Presenting the Stranger Things Edition i-Type Camera, inspired by the original OneStep Polaroid camera. At first glance, the red and blue camera may just seem like a new colourway of the original OneStep, except for the fact that all the text is actually upside down! This is one camera any Stranger Things fan needs in their collection.

OneStep 2 Viewfinder i-Type Camera – Stranger Things Edition (€129.99)

Accompanying the special edition camera is an equally thematic series of colour films. With 16 different designs inspired by Hawkins hangout spots, your pictures will literally be framed by Hawkins. Each pack of film comes with a random selection of 8 designs, so shoot away to see what you get!

Havaianas x Stranger Things

The summer of 1985 is heating up in Hawkins, but in Brazil, the birthplace of Havaianas, a new trend was starting — people were turning their Havaianas flip-flops ‘Upside Down’ to make the flip-flops match the soles. This led to the brand working hard to create even more designs for all tastes and styles. Inspired by this story and by the Netflix series, Havaianas has released two styles of Stranger Things-themed flip-flops.

Havaianas x Stranger Things Flip-Flops (Navy Blue) ($50)

The two styles differ greatly in design, with the Black colourway featuring graphic red, white and purple imagery, all recognisable aspects of the series. On the other hand, the Navy Blue colourway features the shadowy silhouettes of the easily identifiable characters, including the sinister Demogorgon. These are flip-flops that we’ll definitely be strolling around in this summer.

The Havaianas x Stranger Things Flip-Flop collection is available at the Havaianas Bugis Junction outlet and online.

Highsnobiety x Stranger Things

Dropping July 4th (premiere day!), Highsnobiety will be dropping an exclusive capsule collection that you don’t want to miss out on. Consisting of 8 pieces, the collection features two tees, three hoodies, two long sleeves and one crewneck. Each piece references iconic locations around Hawkins that have and will be featured in the series, and other spots around the town.

The Highsnobiety x Stranger Things collection will be available online.

Stranger Things Pop-Up in Seoul

So far, all these collaborations have been bringing Hawkins to us, but how about an (almost) literal trip to the fictional town? Netflix Korea has opened up “Strange Story”, a Stranger Things Pop-Up in Hongdae, Seoul. Guests are invited to explore the house, with each room resembling the familiar scenes from the series. With a trick eye museum, an escape room and even an old-school arcade room, it’s the closest thing you’ll get to being in Hawkins.

“Strange Story” will be open until July 7, so if you happen to be in Seoul, be sure to check it out!

Location:
189, Donggyoro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
Opening Hours:
Weekdays: 2PM – 10PM
Weekends: 12PM – 10PM

Stranger Things 3 premieres globally on July 4, only on Netflix.
