Let’s not kid ourselves. Salted egg food variations in Singapore haven’t always been well-received. But we suppose that wasn’t enough for the salted egg enthusiasts out there, because Texas Chicken is set to launch their very own Salted Egg Fried Chicken!
The jury is still out on how it will taste, but there seem to be many enthusiasts on Instagram who plan to run (not walk) to the nearest Texas Chicken outlet when the combos debut tomorrow on 11 July 2019.
First up, the Salted Egg Fried Chicken Combo Meal promises to be generously coated with real salted egg sauce and sprinkled with salted egg crumbs. It starts from $10.80 and includes one mashed potato, one honey butter biscuit and one regular Sjora Mango Peach.
If you’re more of a sharer, order the REAL Feast Box. Think six pieces of juicy chicken tenders, eight pieces of nuggests and a generous serving of Salted Egg Popcorn Chicken.
Whatever your pleasure regarding salted egg dishes, it will be at Texas Chicken for about two months, so you have plenty of time to decipher your taste buds!
