This summer, celebrities, influencers, fashion labels and even fictional characters have partnered up with some amazing cosmetic brands to make our dreams come true. Here is a roundup of our favourite limited edition makeup collaborations that we can’t wait to get our hands on.
innisfree X BT21
Natural cosmetic brand innisfree is collaborating with BT21, the animated characters from LINE. As part of the collaboration, the products from the brand’s popular Volcanic range are getting a few new additions and a makeover on their packaging.
The collaboration set includes items from the existing Volcanic range with new updated packaging decorated with the super cute BT21 characters. The Volcanic range contains volcanic clusters from Jeju Island that help control sebum and remove impurities in your skin’s pores. There are also two new releases: Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask 2X and Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner. The new items feature the Volcanic Cluster Sphere technology which has twice the sebum absorbing power, great for those with oily skin.

Etude House X Pony
The dream team Etude House X Pony is back with two new eyeshadow palettes — Rose Bomb and Best Loved — and they are giving us major dreamy vibes with all the pink and rosy hues.
The Etude House Play Color Eye Palette: Rose Bomb is exactly what the name suggests. Curated by the makeup guru herself, the 15 shades in the palette are a medley of rosy colours that resemble roses in bloom. Similarly, the Etude House Play Color Eye Palette: Best Loved is also aptly named. It consists of the brand’s 15 most popular and well-loved Look At My Eyes shades, chosen by the customers. With a mix of corals, browns and burgundy shades, the palette is perfect for creating an everyday makeup look that is elegant and dreamy.

There is an inexplicable charm about the lazy egg, Gudetama. Why? Perhaps, it captures the zeitgeist of our generation or simply, because it’s so darn cute! Regardless, we couldn’t help falling in love with this new adorable drop from the 13Rushes X Gudetama collaboration.
The local brand 13Rushes has released a set of brushes, eyelashes, mirrors and of course, blending sponges — all featuring the adorable Gudetama. There isn’t a single item in the collection that isn’t cute but we’re partial to the set of beauty sponges. We love the bright yellow shade and the different emotions the sponges have, all perfectly titled to reflect how we feel most mornings. They even come in an egg carton! How adorable!

Maybelline X Alice + Olivia
The new collaboration between Maybelline and New York City-based contemporary clothing brand Alice + Olivia has gifted us with our favourite Maybelline products in updated packaging and brand new shades! The iconic ‘Stace Face’ print, the quintessence of the chic and stylish AO Babes of the brand, is featured prominently and will make you want to whip out the products from your bags to show them off.
The collection includes the City Mini eyeshadow palette, and cult-favourites Hypercurl Waterproof Mascara and Hypersharp Liner amongst other products. We’re also excited to get our hands on the three new shades of the Colour Sensational range lipsticks. Not to mention, the limited edition collection is exclusive to Asia and Singapore is one of the few lucky cities to carry it!
