Looking for a suitcase that will stand out from the rest? RIMOWA has just added four fresh new colours to their Essential line, which includes the Essential Cabin, Essential Check-In-L and Essential Trunk-Plus models. The new additions — Coral, Slate, Sage and Saffron — are inspired by “the places in between”, remote, secluded locations usually seen only in aerial view, begging to be visited and explored.
Coral — Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2019 — makes an appearance in the RIMOWA Essential line. This time though, the bright hue is inspired by the Pink Lake in Western Australia, a sight we’d personally like to behold. If you’re looking for something more subdued, Slate is probably a safe choice, though we bet you wouldn’t guess how it draws from the rocky hues of Indonesian mines. Perhaps you’re just planning a short getaway from the city to connect to nature? Bring the green shades of the Lake District in northeast England with you by choosing Sage. If work trips have you in dire need of a pick-me-up, we’d recommend you bring the perky Saffron colour along so you’re never far from Tuscany’s rolling fields of canola flowers.
Prices start from $940 and go up to $1,500.
The elements of the new RIMOWA Essential colourways are matched from handle down to wheel housing, allowing for a uniform, monochromatic aesthetic that looks crisp and clean. Aside from being chic, these sleek suitcases in such a unique spectrum of colours will definitely be easy to spot on the luggage belt amongst the typical blacks and blues.
The new RIMOWA colourways for three RIMOWA Essential sizes will be available at RIMOWA stores. rimowa.com
