When you think of K-Beauty, cute packaging and character collaborations might come to mind. From the many character collaborations in myriads of bright and pastel hues, you might do a double take when you see them perched on a store’s display. I have to admit, cute packaging used to be a huge deciding factor for me when I was younger and while that changed as I grew older, I still have a soft spot for all things cute, even makeup!
If you relate, here are some collaborations you can look out for:
THE FACE SHOP X KAKAO FRIENDS “Play with FRIENDS Club”
THE FACE SHOP is back with another Kakao Friends collaboration featuring the popular Apeach and Ryan. Designed specially to brave the summer, this line consists of everything from makeup to skincare and sun care products — and yes, all of which sporting adorable packaging!
The designs, in trendy pinks and greens, go hand-in-hand with the characters’ personalities. The characters can also be seen doing yoga, playing tennis, surfing and stretching in cute poses.
Look out for the limited-edition Yoga Ryan Skin Relief Body Care which includes an Avocado body wash and body lotion in containers of Ryan doing a yoga pose (absolutely adorable!) and the Dr. Belmeur UV Derma Sun Care products which includes 2 low irritant sun creams, a low irritant mild sun stick and cushion type sun block.
This collection screams “summer” with its adorable sporty designs and primary focus on oil-control and sun care, your comrades in battling the summer heat!
THE FACE SHOP X KAKAO FRIENDS “Play with FRIENDS Club” Collaboration Collection is available at all THE FACE SHOP stores islandwide.
innisfree x WHENIWASFOUR
It has not been long since Singapore turned 54 and to celebrate that, we have another cute K-Beauty collaboration to look out for.
This time, innisfree collaborated with local design studio WHENIWASFOUR to create collectibles for the month of August. This marks innisfree Singapore’s first ever collaboration with a local artist — a great way to celebrate our nation’s birthday!
This collaboration consists of enamel pins of innisfree’s iconic skincare lines, Jeju Orchid, Green Tea and Volcanic Clay, along with a limited edition pouch that evokes nostalgia with its quirky designs of the average Singaporean childhood — spot the iconic dragon playground and gacha capsule machines we used to indulge in during our childhood!
Bring home these collectibles when you spend a minimum of $68 in the month of August.
