By now, we’re no stranger to Virgil Abloh’s affinity for reviving house classics at Louis Vuitton. Case in point: the New Classics; iconic bags from the archives that have been reinterpreted to fit the versatility of the modern urban lifestyle.
Not veering (very) far from the brand’s codes, Virgil instead revived the look and feel of traditional pieces: featuring detachable shoulder straps, playing with leather and resin chains and adding a functional touch to the bags.

The New Classics collection will be released in the iconic Monogram Eclipse range and comprises of four bags: the Steamer, the Soft Trunk, Mini Soft Trunk and the Pochette Volga. Made with buttery leather and signature metallic finishes, these pieces flirt along the lines of sportswear and urban.
You might see some of the pieces in all of Virgil’s collections for Louis Vuitton Men from this season onwards — bags which you can call yours come 18 October.
