The Best Of Both Worlds — Reebok And Adidas’ Instapump Fury Boost™

By Germaine Leow

The release of new sneakers alone would send sneakerheads scrambling to get their hands on a pair. What happens when two of your favourite brands collaborate? You might just be looking at the sneaker collab of the year.

Put Reebok’s iconic Instapump Fury with adidas’ Boost™ technology and you’ll get a fierce silhouette with guaranteed comfort and performance — the Instapump Fury Boost™.

It comes in three exclusive release packs and five different colourways:

“Prototype”

Its name says it all — this pair is in the original colourway of Steven Smith’s Instapump Fury production sample. While the sneaker made its debut with the citron and crimson colourway, we’re glad this made it out of his drafts and into the market. Its striking royal blue and solar orange adds a trendy pop of colour to the classic white base — a tempting pair to own, indeed.

The Prototype made its debut at atmosCon Japan on 5 October, launched in Asia Pacific on 11 October and will release globally on 15 November — mark your calendars if you want to get your hands on these!

“OG Meets OG”

Wondering why these designs look familiar? It’s because they are modeled after the Reebok Instapump Fury OG and adidas Boost™ OG. Paying homage to both silhouettes’ original colour palettes, the Citron/Red OG adopts the Instapump Fury OG’s bold colour palette in citron yellow, crimson red and black, while the Black/Purple OG is in the Boost™ OG’s iconic black and purple.

If you were a fan of the original colourways then you might like this range — look out for its Asia Pacific release on 25 October and global release on 22 November.

“Black & White”

If you tend to shy away from bold colours then this pack is for you. One can never go wrong with black and white — it’s classic, modern and absolutely versatile. While these are not as eye-catching as their striking counterparts, we are fans of the clean monochrome palette which could be popular with both the streetwear community and general public.

You might have to wait a little longer for these — they drop in Asia Pacific on 11 November and globally on 6 December.
