In this day and age of flourishing e-commerce, our favourite brands are all hopping onto the bandwagon of launching online stores and we couldn’t be happier. This time, it’s luxury fashion brand, Louis Vuitton’s turn to launch their E-Commerce website in Singapore.
You can shop a wide range of products — from ready-to-wear pieces for men and women, leather goods, small leather goods, shoes, accessories, watch and jewellery, luggage and fragrances. They also offer a variety of personalisation services such as hot stamping and engraving which allows you to add a personal touch to your products! It seems like the experience is nothing short of one at your local boutiques.
With the Louis Vuitton “White Glove Service”, clients can either opt for a complimentary same day or next day delivery and have their purchases delivered directly to their homes. If you would like to pick the item up yourself, you can select the “Click and Collect” option and pick them up at the Louis Vuitton Ngee Ann City store.
To kick-start your online shopping experience, here are 10 recommendations from us:
1. Multi Pochette Accessoires ($2,260)
If you’ve kept yourself updated on the latest Louis Vuitton releases then you’d know about this highly raved about one — it’s versatile, interchangeable (with detachable accessories and strap), trendy and well, very cute. Go from a casual day look with the Jacquard strap (in Kaki or Rose Clair) and switch it out with the classic gold chain for a formal evening look.
2. Palm Springs Mini ($2,650)
While we’re on the topic of versatile pieces — here’s another one of our favourites. It’s a backpack. It’s a cross-body. It’s a shoulder bag. It’s all of them! It definitely caught our eye with its classic silhouette and thin straps, like it came straight out of a 90s movie on the back of every preppy schoolgirl. When we found out the straps could be positioned in multiple ways, we knew it had to make the list.
3. New Wave Heart Bag – Exclusively Online ($2,400)
Now, this one made the list because it is absolutely adorable (and available exclusively online!) but — you guessed it, it’s another multi-purpose bag. This time, it comes with various straps — a clutch handle, a cross-body leather strap and a belt loop. Complementing the bag’s sweet pink are colourful letters that make out the word “Vuitton” on the clutch handle. While we love Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram, it doesn’t hurt to change things up a bit with this baby over here!
4. Petite Malle ($7,050)
Mini bags are in and we’re all for this trend, especially if it looks like a vintage trunk downsized to sling across your body. From the gold tone locks to its sturdy structure, we only have praises to sing for this iconic LV piece. Who says you’re only on vacation if you’re lugging a giant suitcase with you? You can feel like you’re on holiday everyday with this mini clutch-cum-cross-body!
5. Dauphine MM ($3,950)
This Louis Vuitton classic is back better than before — with refreshing new features like the chain strap and magnetised lock, combining both heritage and modern trends. If you’ve made it this far, you would know that we adore the iconic monogram, but even more when paired with the reverse monogram! Both textures complement each other incredibly well, coming together for a classy and feminine look.
6. Time Out Sneaker ($1,360)
With its trendy silhouette, this is your pair of classic white sneakers with a LV twist. Adding a pop of colour to the all-white kicks is the familiar rainbow-lettered “Vuitton”, symbolic of the New Wave collection. Louis Vuitton’s iconic flower logos are embossed on the back of the soles in the same shade as the sneakers, for a clean and minimalist finish. We love the street-style inspired outsoles, spiced up with edgy jagged lines and elevated for a bit more oomph!
7. Star Trail Ankle Boot ($2,270)
Kick it up a notch with these ankle boots — when you thought the iconic monogram alone was eye-catching enough, the adorable drawings of cats and dogs are sure to turn heads like how these furry friends always do on the streets! Balance the edginess of the laced-up boots with these cute creatures for the best of both worlds.
8. Idylle Blossom Charms Bracelet, 3 Golds and Diamonds ($6,050)
On to jewellery — we picked this charm bracelet in a sweet pink gold, armed with Louis Vuitton’s logo and iconic flowers in pink, white and yellow gold. While mixing different golds could come off as tacky, it certainly worked for this piece. We love how the different tones of gold came together cohesively, enhanced with the diamonds that even out the wild mix of colours.
9. Monogram Admiral Jacket ($9,550)
For the guys who like going without a bag, you might fancy this one here. If pockets are all you need to hold your daily necessities, this jacket might just be your new best friend. Ok, this is definitely no everyday wear (though we won’t judge if you choose to!) but we love how this combines a jacket and a bag in one. We also adore the military inspired style and structure, making this a fierce piece to flaunt this Fall.
10. Christopher Backpack GM ($7,000)
Now, this is what you call a statement piece. It is large in size and larger in presence, commanding attention in every room it’s in. It is probably not quite something you would expect from the luxury Maison but ever since the translucent prism material made its debut in the Spring-Summer 2019 show, it has won the hearts of many. Aside from how eye-catching and unique this piece is, it is also incredibly roomy and functional — perfect for short weekend trips and staycations!
