Acne Studios has tapped Mulberry to launch a limited edition collection, and the fruit of their collaboration looks promising. The Acne Studios x Mulberry collection encompasses the basic shapes of their own individual iconic bags plus a handful of small leather goods, unified by multiple buckle straps and oversized metal hardware details.

True to both fashion houses’ DNA, the collaboration, tailored for both men and women, is imbued in English charm and punctuated with a Swedish aesthetic. Applying Acne Studio’s penchant for origami knots and Mulberry’s eye for belt strap detailing in Scotchgrain to a line of oak, black and pink leather bags.

Designed with the proportions of the iconic Musubi bag by Acne Studios and the Bayswater by Mulberry in mind, the bags come in messenger and mini crossbody satchel styles.

“It’s great to have two bags that have such strong signatures that can also be married together,” says Jonny Johansson, creative director of Acne Studios. “The logo we created for the collaboration is like the letters of Acne Studios are leaves in their tree.”
