Father’s Day is coming up, and while we’re currently in phase 1 of post-Circuit Breaker, not all of us might be able to celebrate the occasion in person. So far, only 2 visitors are allowed to visit their parents per day, so if you come from a big family, it may be difficult to have all your family members in one gathering. Whether you still live with your dad or you’re miles away, here are a few activities you can do with your father on his special day.
Virtual Wine Tasting
For dads who appreciate their wine, a virtual wine tasting would be a great way to bond while enjoying and learning more about what you’re drinking. Fine Wines Singapore offers a variety of virtual classes, including an Introduction to French Wines class on June 20th, the day before Father’s Day. Participants will learn and taste 5 varieties of wine — Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in a class led by a certified wine educator, all from the comfort of your own home. Wine samples will be delivered right to your doorstep at least an hour before the lesson begins.
If you aren’t able to be with your father during this time, you can still take part in the same virtual wine tasting session! Just remember to sign up for the same class.

Virtual Cooking Class
All dads love to eat, and many love to cook — doesn’t everyone love Italian food? While you could always send your dad a hot meal, cooking together is a great bonding activity everyone will enjoy. If you aren’t the best in the kitchen, a great option would be to check out pre-made food kits, so you have everything you’ll need in one package. Visit a Museum
Go on a virtual museum tour in some of the most famous museums in the world — this is a great option for any culture buff. You no longer need to fly thousands of miles to visit the world’s greatest collections. Whether you want to view Egyptian antiquities at the Louvre, explore the 31,000-square-foot fossil hall at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History or learn about ancient Greek relics at the British Museum, there are a multitude of exhibits for you to choose from.

Stream a Movie
Even if you’re not in the same house, you can still watch your favourite shows and movies with dad. With Google Chrome extensions like Netflix Party and Metastream, you can easily sync up your streaming selections and watch them remotely at the same time. While Netflix Party only works with Netflix, Metastream works with a variety of sites, including YouTube, Netflix, Twitch Reddit and even SoundCloud! Both extensions also have a built-in group chat that you can use while you’re streaming. All you have to do is download the extensions and play your favourite content — it’s that simple.

Spend Time With Your Father
If your dad isn’t the type to fuss over celebrations, or even if you don’t have the closest relationship, you could always just spend a little more time with him on this special day. Whether it’s helping him out around the house or initiating a conversation, there are always little ways to show him your appreciation.
If you won’t be able to see your dad, one thing you can do is simply give him a call. No matter where you are in the world, just a few minutes on the phone or over Skype is bound to bring a smile to his face.
