3 Newly-Released Wireless Speakers For Small Spaces in Your Home

In the market for a new wireless speaker? Even if you already have a few lying around in your home, there’s always room for one more especially when it is portable and small enough to fit into any space in your home. These are also extremely handy in giving your audio a boost when you’ve lost the fight for the TV, and have to stream your Netflix show on a tablet or a laptop!

Here’s a closer look at three newly-released wireless speakers that you can consider getting for your home.

HUAWEI SOUND X

Co-designed with French audio brand Devialet, the Huawei Sound X ($498) is the first-ever dual-subwoofer Hi-Fi speaker that uses your Wi-Fi, instead of Bluetooth, to connect to your device. Equipped with Devialet’s patented signal-processing SAM (Speaker Active Matching) technology, which tailors the sound to the characteristics of the speakers, the Sound X will be able to reproduce sound signals in real-time — bringing you 360-degrees of high fidelity audio as it was meant to be heard.

The Sound X also includes Devialet’s iconic Push-Push Acoustic Design, which ensures you enjoy clear, nuanced sound even at the highest volume. As most traditional speaker units tend to shake and lose quality at high volumes, the Huawei Sound X is built with symmetrical dual subwoofers that cancel out the vibrations of the other to suppress audio distortion at any volume.

The Huawei Sound X is available at $498 from all Huawei Concept Stores, Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Harvey Norman, and online at the Huawei official stores on Lazada and Shopee.

MARSHALL EMBERTON

The Marshall Emberton ($249) is a compact, portable speaker featuring the loud and vibrant, signature sound that only Marshall can deliver. Built with True Stereophonic, Marshall’s unique form of multi-directional sound, you can expect to hear an absolute 360-degree sound that is loud enough for you to hear from another spot in the house.

Despite its small size, the Emberton is able to deliver 20+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge. The battery indicator on the top of the speaker makes it easy for you to keep an eye on the battery level and if you ever run out of juice, all you’ll need to do is quick charge the Emberton for 20 minutes to get five hours of playtime.

The Marshall Emberton is available at $298 from the official Marshall store on Shopee.

The speaker supports hands-free functionality, voice commands and multi-phone pairing, and is rated IPX5, making it water-resistant and safe from sprays and water splashes.
