LEGO and Nintendo Introduce The Nostalgic NES in Brick Form

With the successful launch of the LEGO Super Mario™ sets, the brick toy company and Nintendo is continuing to build on their partnership with an all-new building kit that lets adult fans recreate the Super Mario Bros.™ gameplay and rekindle nostalgic NES memories.

The LEGO® Nintendo Entertainment System™ Building Kit allows grown-up fans to create their own NES console with LEGO bricks. It offers a brick-built NES model packed with realistic details which includes an accompanying 1980’s style LEGO television set. 

The LEGO version of the all-time favourite console will be mechanically functional and includes a controller with a connecting cable and plug, as well as an opening slot for the Game Pak with a locking feature. The kit also comes with a buildable retro TV, which features a flat 8-bit Mario figure on the scrolling screen.

You can opt to get an additional action-included LEGO® Mario™ from the LEGO Super Mario Starter Course to see him react to on-screen enemies, obstacles and power-ups, just as he would have in the iconic Super Mario Bros.™ game.

The highly collectible LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System Building Kit retails at $329.90 and will be available exclusively at LEGO Certified Stores in Singapore from 1 August.

All purchases of the NES Building Kit will receive a LEGO brick-based boxed set as a gift with purchase, while stocks last.
