In an effort to include more plant-based food choices in their outlets, Starbucks Singapore has launched the all-new Impossible Rendang Pie, which will now be one of the six items included as part of the limited-time Shiok Food Menu that celebrates the local flavours of Singapore.
.
The Impossible Rendang Pie ($8.90) is a locally-inspired twist on a Starbucks classic and is made with a flaky, buttery shortcrust pastry. The pie filling features ground Impossible Burger plant-based meat from Impossible Foods and is slow-cooked in a rich rendang gravy with carrots, edamame, potatoes and a hard-boiled egg in the centre.
Impossible Foods’ plant-based meat uses a fraction of the environmental resources required as compared to ground beef from a cow, so in addition to snacking on a delicious pie, you will be helping to do your bit for the environment.
You can enjoy the Impossible Rendang Pie at $8.90 from now to 11 August at all Starbucks outlets across Singapore, and for delivery through Foodpanda, Deliveroo and GrabFood.
