Something we always look forward to are Uniqlo’s UT Collections — with their Pokémon and monpoké release and their Billie Eilish x Takashi Murakami collaboration earlier this year, the Japanese clothing brand hasn’t disappointed, and we can’t wait for their upcoming Sci-Fi collections. Featuring Japanese Sci-Fi favourites, the brand is certainly channeling their pride for their nation’s iconic pop culture.
EVANGELION UT
Highlighting the upcoming EVANGELION: 3.0+1.0 animated film, the collection presents key visuals from the animation studio Studio Khara, which were created exclusively for UNIQLO. Also presented are frames from the upcoming film — now you know what to wear when the film premieres! As the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of EVANGELION series, avid fans of the series will also appreciate some of the details depicted on the clothing, such as the 4:58:50 on the right pocket of one of the tees, which indicates the time left for EVANGELIONs to act after the power is disconnected.

Gunpla 40th Anniversary UT
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the launch of plastic figurines from the Mobile Suit Gundam series, the collection features dynamic Gundam motifs across all T-shirts, including designs specially created for UT. Gundam fans will recognise popular models displayed across the collection, including RX-78-2 Gundam, Zeta Gundam and Strike Freedom Gundam.
Limited Edition Gunpla Models
As a special treat, customers who purchase at least 2 Gunpla 40th Anniversary UT items with a minimum spend of $100 will receive one of two original Gundam plastic models — either a Gundam or Zaku plastic model with bodies in UNIQLO’s signature red and white colours. Only available at selected stores, each model is a limited edition exclusive UNIQLO UT-original.

Ultraman UT
Many of us grew up watching the Ultraman series, and it’s been 54 years since its start in 1966. In celebration of the iconic series, this UT collection features various designs from the Ultra Series, from the original run of Ultra Q and Ultraman to the one of the most recent iterations, 2019’s Ultraman Taiga. With a selection of illustrations of popular characters including even the monsters Ultraman has battled, there’s something in this collection for every fan.
Parents can also dress up with their kids to pay homage to the beloved hero and his foes, with an adorable Kids’ collection to match the adult version.

Doraemon UT
Celebrating the upcoming Stand By Me Doraemon 2 and the Japanese cartoon’s 50th anniversary, ultra-fans of the lovable blue character can look forward to a playful collection featuring the eponymous character. From a classic display of the character and some of his iconic gadgets, to even a Takashi Murakami-esque rendition of his recognisable outline, this is one collection not to be missed by new and old fans alike.
