According to a recent consumer survey done by Bosch Home Appliances with close to 2,000 Singaporeans, at least 89% of the participants view hygiene as a high priority. This is not surprising now, of course, but compare this figure to how only 39% responded this way, prior to the pandemic.

The All-New Bosch Serie 6 and 8 Washing Machines with Specialised Hygienic Functions
With a commitment to manufacturing appliances that can keep homes clean and healthy in this new normal, Bosch Home Appliances has launched five new washing machines in their Serie 6 and Serie 8 line-up, with specialised and innovative hygiene functions such as the Active Oxygen and AllergyPlus.

ActiveOxygen technology helps to eliminate up to 99.99% of germs and bacteria even at low temperatures and is used to pre-treat laundry once when the cycle starts and once more before the final rinse. The addition of this option to your laundry programme will result in 30 more minutes of wash that can assist in eliminating any existing germs.
The AllergyPlus feature, on the other hand, helps to remove 99.99% of bacteria at 60°C using regular detergent with the recommended laundry load of 4kg — this essentially means that it will be tough on germs but gentle on your clothes and skin.
Serie 6 Washing Machines
The Serie 6 front-load washing machines all feature AllergyPlus as well as EcoSilence Drive, which allows your washing machine to be extremely energy-efficient and operate quietly. The models in Serie 6 also feature ActiveWater Plus — a pressure and water sensor that measures the washing load and helps to adjust water intake to give your water utility bill a better way to save.
