CHANEL’s New COCO MADEMOISELLE L’Eau Privée Fragrance Is Made To Accompany Your Beauty Sleep

Since its introduction in 2001, CHANEL’s COCO MADEMOISELLE fragrance has made its way into many of our personal collections, and 19 years later, the brand presents a brand new interpretation of the seductive scent — COCO MADEMOISELLE L’Eau Privée. In an elegant campaign starring Keira Knightly, we’re introduced to the fragrance as one that is made for the night.

The brainchild of Olivier Polge, CHANEL’s In-House Perfumer Creator, alongside the CHANEL Laboratory of Fragrance Creation and Development, COCO MADEMOISELLE L’Eau Privée seems like more of an experience, rather than a simple scent. Designed to be sprayed generously before bed, the oriental fragrance is certainly one to add to your nighttime ritual — we spend so much time on taking care of our skin and hair, so why not indulge and envelope ourselves in an olfactory experience?

Bearing familiar notes from the original rendition of COCO MADEMOISELLE, this nighttime variation presents as a softer, more endearing version of the scent, focusing on citrusy orange notes intertwined with floral jasmine absolute and rose petal accents. The woodiness from the original fragrance has been toned down, with the scent pulled together by comforting white musk notes, perfect for the pillow. Described as a watercolour scent, COCO MADEMOISELLE L’Eau Privée is a delicate transformation of the original, made to accompany you and your beauty sleep.

Packaging is often just as important as the product, and CHANEL has presented us with an elegant frosted glass bottle, complete with L’EAU PRIVÉE etched in gold lettering. We get just a glimpse of the warm fragrance within — perfect for your bedside.

The CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE L’Eau Privée Eau de Toilette Spray is available in 50ml ($139) and 100ml ($198) bottles, and will be available at CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty stores islandwide from 4 September.
