For many of us, a lot of our fashion inspiration stems from iconic outfits of the past, and we’ve been adding our own spin to develop our ever-changing style into what it is today. In collaboration with English streetwear label Kangol, H&M is releasing a 31-piece collection that was literally created for the self-made generation.
Featuring international music artist Mabel, the collection is fit for fall, with oversized and cropped knitwear, puffer jackets and comfy joggers. The collection also features 2 pieces co-designed by Mabel herself, namely the High Neck Sweater and fleece Bucket Hat, both featuring the recognisable Kangol logo.
Also included in the collection is a boxy Oversized T-Shirt and a Bodycon Dress perfect for casual nights out. While the majority of the collection has been based on a rather neutral colour scheme, with black, white and nude shades across the selection, we also see more colourful elements of neon green and cobalt blue that channel serious 90’s vibes.
Although we don’t typically have cooler weather in our tropical climate, we certainly see potential to rock this cosy collection on rainy days and even when we have to spend hours working in air-conditioned classrooms and office spaces. A series of handy accessories have also been developed for the collection, including a handy fleece-textured Bumbag that could double as either a crossbody or a fanny pack.
