Every Christmas for the past many years, shu uemura has teamed up with a pop culture brand for their makeup collection; last year’s was with Pokémon, the year before that, there was the collaboration with luxury chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat, and in 2017, it was Super Mario. This year has gotten even more exciting with a treasure trove of makeup palettes and colours with the Japanese manga series, ONE PIECE.
Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew feature in illustrations throughout the product packaging (look carefully on the eyeshadow palette and you’ll see the characters holding shu uemura products); and our favourite doctor, Tony Tony Chopper — a reindeer / human hybrid — is offered as a soft toy that is extremely limited and will only be available as a VIP purchase (more details on this to come).
