Timberland’s Earthkeepers Edition: The Ecoriginal EK+ 6′′ Waterproof Boots

As part of Timberland’s Fall 2020, the Earthkeepers collection uses materials that are either: sourced from farms that use regenerative practices; or made with renewable natural materials from farms that use responsible land management practices; or have materials that are 100% recycled. Whichever way, there’s no additional harm to the earth.

The first drop includes the Ecoriginal EK+ 6″ Waterproof Boots that take on the brand’s classic rugged boot silhouette, but styled with military straps, camouflage prints and quilted technical weaves.

The lining is waterproof and made of 50% recycled plastic, while the natural rubber used in the soles do not contribute to rainforest deforestation. The leather upper is also made to last with good quality leather from a tannery that’s rated silver for responsible environmental practices by the Leather Working Group.

The boot is available in two colourways: the signature Timberland yellow, and black, and in mens’ and womens‘ versions. There’s a slight design difference between the genders, with the camouflage on the women’s boot being slightly lighter than the men’s, and the men’s boot having a leather tag sewn onto the tongue.
