CHANEL Created A Moon For Their N°5 Fragrance Holiday Campaign feat. Marion Cotillard

The most famous fragrance in the world — the CHANEL N°5 — enters a new chapter with their holiday 2020 campaign, featuring French actress, singer-songwriter, musician, and environmentalist, Marion Cotillard. This is the first time she is featured as the face of the fragrance, and is seen dancing on the moon with Étoile French ballet dancer, Jérémie Bélingard.

The scene starts with Cotillard walking on a snow-covered Parisian bridge gazing up at the moon; in the next scene, she is in an incredible golden dress (designed by Virginie Viard, Creative Director of CHANEL), and dancing on the moon with her “lover” who was waiting for her there. It ends with the dream becoming a reality when she sees the man next to her on the bridge, and they look at each other knowingly and then smile.

The film was directed by Johan Renck, and choreographed by Ryan Heffington. It will be released worldwide on October 29, 2020. In the meantime, here are some behind the scenes photos and videos that capture the essence of the film.
