Did someone say… Harry Potter? The phenomenal success of the book and film series means that it really doesn’t need much introduction, so how about saying ‘yer a wizard with this — H&M has just launched a Kidswear capsule collection inspired by the magical world of wizards and witches, with the series’ famous motifs and house emblems all over a range of children’s clothing and accessories, available 8 October 2020 at H&M Orchard Building, ION Orchard, and VivoCity.
Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin or Ravenclaw, you’ll love the imaginative graphics of the H&M Kidswear x Harry Potter collection, which takes key references from the Harry Potter film series.
As a tribute to the Boy Who Lived and the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the 16 items in the collection range from t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, dresses and joggers, meant for newborns to young teens. For the parents of today, those of you who probably grew up with the series, this is a (bloody) brilliant way to pass down your love for the series to your kids.
In fact, there’s also a varsity theme going on with the clothes, particularly those meant for young girls and boys — the fonts, stripes, and placements echo those we see donned by American college students. Illustrations of Hedwig, Harry’s beloved owl, and gold embellishments also find their way on these new threads.
And yes, we know these are meant for children, but can we take a moment to admire the accessories? These include scrunchies and the cutest rings featuring the golden snitch, the Hogwarts acceptance letter, and Harry’s lightning bolt scar, which are totally perfect for adult superfans too. Wicked.
The H&M Kidswear Harry Potter capsule collection, from $9.95 – $24.95, available from 8 October 2020 at H&M Orchard Building, ION Orchard and VivoCity.
