Casio has added two new watch series to their growing catalogue just in time for the Christmas season! The Casio Lover’s Collection 2020 features matching couple designs available in classic watch models from G-SHOCK and BABY-G, while G-SHOCK’s Utility Wavy Marble series features designs inspired by textured marble patterns. Here’s a look at each collection.
CASIO LOVER’S COLLECTION 2020
Accented with rose gold and a rose motif on the central axis of the dial, the LOV-20A-7ADR ($399) is a pure white pair of watches that aims to encapsulate the theme of pure love, using the rose motif which symbolises the deep emotional connection between the wearers. Both watches come together in a special heart-shaped packaging with a rose garland pattern which will make a great instant gift.

Designed in collaboration with New York-based graffiti artist Curtis Kulig, the LOV-20B-4DR ($279) features the artist’s iconic ‘Love Me’ signature as the key design element of the watch in vivid red colour. The words ‘Love Me’ also appears on the display when the EL backlight is turned on.
Both watch designs in the Casio Lover’s Collection 2020 come with an angel and devil figure printed on the back of the watch alongside the year 2020.

UTILITY WAVY MARBLE SERIES
Inspired by textured marble patterns, the G-SHOCK Utility Wavy Marble Series comes in three different G-SHOCK models and a light beige coloured Baby-G, all made using mixed colour resin technology for a realistic and organic marble look.
Here’s a closer look at the watch designs.

Of the four models, the GA-2000WM-1ADR ($199) comes with a Carbon Core Guard structure which increases the watch’s shock-resistance and a large front button design. This model is also the most striking of the bunch as it features a contrasting matte black bezel against the light beige colour of the watch.
The GA-700WM-5ADR ($189) is a similar model which features a large bezel and equally bold design in light beige while the DW-5600WM-5DR ($159) and BGD-560WM ($139) showcase the iconic square-face displays of the G-SHOCK and BABY-G with EL backlight.
All four models in the series are equipped with durable shock-resistance technology and are water-resistant of up to 200-metres.
Both the Casio Lover’s Collection 2020 and Utility Wavy Marble Series are available at all G-SHOCK stores and online at the G-SHOCK Singapore store. Do note that the BABY-G model from the Utility Wavy Marble Series will only be available in G-SHOCK stores.
