Starbucks Debuts Their New ‘Year of the Ox’ CNY Merchandise

Now that Christmas trees and fairy lights are so last year, maybe it’s time we embraced CNY music and the red-and-gold decor that you’ll soon see across all public spaces and supermarket aisles. With that, Starbucks has launched a new Lunar New Year collection that celebrates the Year of the Ox in style.

LUNAR NEW YEAR COLLECTION

These span across themed drinkware and other collectible merchandise that includes an Ox Bearista, a Money Bank that’ll be handy for all the red packets loot, as well as a “snow globe” that showers you in gold flakes for prosperity.

For their drinkware, you’ll find fan-favourite fare of water bottles, tumblers, and mugs, which see designs that feature this year’s Chinese Zodiac sign. The mighty ox is resplendent as ever when paired with red florals and gold accents, whether on a white canvas or dark charcoal base. A standout here would be a Teapot & Mug Set, where the cup can be stacked under the stainless steel teapot when you’d like to display it on your dining table.
