Homegrown fashion brand Love, Bonito thrives on creating wearable looks for those of us who value comfort and effortless style. And as much as we love our luxury bags, we can get behind an everyday collection designed for a “real girl” capsule wardrobe — an aesthetic that local blogger Andrea Chong intuitively understands. After a successful first run of the &REA by Love, Bonito collection launched last year, there’s now a second collection of apparel and accessories we can look forward to. The first of three drops will debut on 31 March.
Once again, the &REA collection, creatively led by Drea herself, will offer up more of her elegant and feminine styles. The focus here is slightly different though — these tailored pieces and casual dresses are designed as functional, transitional wear, so you can easily switch things up between the office and the gym. There are also athleisure pieces such as a cropped bra top and biker shorts, while the colour palette now includes juicy pops of colours such as lime neon, daffodil yellow, and cerulean blue.
“The second collection of &REA by Love, Bonito explores the fun and colourful side of my wardrobe and addresses my preference for minimal yet stylish athleisure pieces that will take me from pilates to the office,” said Andrea. “This collection includes halter cropped tops that will go so well with boxy blazers to give you that effortless post-gym look.”

From the items released in the first drop, you’ll notice standout pieces such as an oversized blazer in charcoal or nude, and a maxi dress with a twist strap, available in cerulean and brown. The subsequent two drops will be released in April and May 2021, and will see cropped cardigans, more breezy dresses, a utilitarian jumpsuit, as well as accessories such as twist mules and sandals.
&REA by Love, Bonito, $41.90 – $69.90. The collection will be available starting on 31 March 2021 at lovebonito.com and at Love, Bonito stores, followed by the later drops during April and May.
