BOYY was founded in 2006 in New York by husband and wife team, Jesse Dorsey and Wannasiri Kongman, and for a long time, the brand’s pieces were hailed as the “anti-it bag”. The products are simple and streamlined, but not in a boring way; their signature being the oversized buckle that adorns their iconic Bobby and Karl models, and are now seen on cross-body phone cases, pouchettes, wallets, and even charms.

Each season, BOYY releases new variations of their popular silhouettes, introducing new colourways, materials and sizes. For Spring-Summer 2021, the Buckle is interpreted in raffia for the Bobby, and muted shades of Ginger, Black and Ice for Karl. Newer silhouettes like the Lotus and Wonton also get the raffia treatment, as well as smaller “charm” sizes that are in line with the mini bag trend.

We particularly love the “Takeaway Campaign” collection of Lotus and Wonton bags. Both styles have adjustable detachable top handles that can open to accommodate smaller charm bags, or to attach diagonally across the top of the bag for a more secure way to carry it.
