Kumoya opens their newest themed cafe this Friday, 12 March 2021, and it’s with Sumikkogurashi! Who’s Sumikkogurashi? They are the characters living a quiet and solitary life in the corner — a great example for all of us to follow during this pandemic. The craze started with a game played on iOS or Android, and looks like this:

The franchise has since moved on to merchandise (obviously) and a movie that came out last November. This week, Kumoya’s Sumikkogurashi pop-up cafe opens at Orchard Central (it’s the first in Southeast Asia!), and as expected, the interior is decked out with pictures of all our favourite characters. Here’s a look at the space:

The Sumikkogurashi pop-up cafe is located at Kumoya @ Orchard Central, #04-08. get a seat by walk-in and reservations via chope, and kumoya social media sites. Opening hours: 11am-9.30pm daily.
