Tiffany & Co. Debuts Their First-Ever Series Of Diamond Engagement Rings For Men

The iconic Tiffany & Co. diamond engagement ring — and the Tiffany Blue® boxes it comes in — is now available for men too, in an intentionally designed men’s engagement ring collection. A first for the esteemed jewellery house, this new series is meant to support love and inclusivity for same-sex and gender-fluid couples, while “paving the way for new traditions to celebrate our unique love stories and honour our most cherished commitments to one another.”

Now owned by luxury products group LVMH, Tiffany & Co. has aptly titled the new line “The Charles Tiffany Setting”, named after founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, who, in 1886, introduced the first solitaire diamond engagement ring for women, the now-famous “Tiffany Setting”. That six-prong setting, and the way it elevates the diamond for the more discerning eye, has long been admired for how it shows off the brilliance of the stone.

Here though, we see six styles of the men’s rings, that differ from the more traditional wedding band, since they feature either a round-brilliant or emerald-cut diamond in the centre of a modern signet-style design. The emphasis seems to be on clean lines and strong edges, especially with the emerald-cut diamond rings that feature a more masculine beveled edge compared to the ladies’ range. Four of the rings are also crafted in platinum, with the ones in matte black and grey made of titanium.
