MUJI Reopens At Jem on 7 June With Wider Product Selections And New Services

Since the temporary closure of Jem, MUJI Jem will reopen on 7 June with an expanded store size, This will provide more room to for a wider range of products under Kids Wear, Ladies’ One Size Garment, as well as new amenities such as an embroidery service, a coffee machine, and a water refill station, that to help those living in the West feel a little closer to home. 

The new and improved space also allows us to physically view the furniture items available at MUJI, to better visualise what you’re looking for when furnishing your home. Here’s a closer look at what awaits you at the revamped MUJI Jem.

NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Kids Wear
MUJI Kids Wear

Understanding the need to ensure your child is fitted with comfortable clothes, MUJI Kids Wear is an affordable range of clothing made of organic cotton that feels soft on the skin without causing any irritation. You can even find the outfits in sets for daily wear with pants that have been designed to be easy for kids to wear and move in, sans the fuss of dressing.

Ladies’ One Size
MUJI Ladies’ One Size.

The capsule collection of casual wear for ladies, also known as ‘One Mile’ wear, is designed with in relaxed styles that provide easy movement when you’re working from home or going out for a grocery run. Each piece comes with a flexible drape, and fits different body shapes and heights comfortably.

Embroidery Service
MUJI’s Embroidery Service.

MUJI’s Jem outlet will join their flagship store at Plaza Singapura as the second outlet to have an embroidery service in-store. The embroidery station is where you’ll be able to add custom embroidery from over 200 designs and letterings on your selected MUJI apparel or textile purchase. Do note that additional embroidery fees will apply.

Water Refill Station
MUJI’s reusable ‘My Bottle for Water 350ml’, $2.90.

Feeling thirsty while you shop? Instead of getting another bottled mineral water, consider refilling your own bottle at the MUJI Water Refill station in the store! Not only will you save on the cost of bottled mineral water, but you will also be doing your part for the environment by reducing your single use of plastic waste.

If you haven’t got a bottle, you can opt to purchase MUJI’s reusable ‘My Bottle for Water 350ml’ at only $2.90, which you can refill anytime.

Coffee Machine
Get a freshly brewed cup of coffee at the MUJI coffee machine.

Take a coffee break at MUJI’s coffee machine, which provides cups of freshly brewed coffee from grounded whole coffee beans with reviving aroma and flavours. Choose from available hot brew options priced at $1.20 to $2 that include Espresso, Black Coffee, Café Latte, and Matcha Latte.

PRICE REDUCTION ON EVERYDAY LIVING ITEMS

In order to deliver daily necessities that support the lifestyle of each individual during the pandemic, MUJI has permanently reduced the prices of key clothing and household goods to make it more affordable for more to enjoy MUJI products across their outlets.
