The happy news was recently shared by one of the founders Peggy Chang, on her personal Instagram account, where she detailed the long and arduous journey she and her team had experienced which ultimately led to this favourable outcome.

For those needing a little refresher, The Tiramisu Hero first made headlines in 2019 when they were suddenly embroiled in a copyright dispute with a Japanese company who had filed trademark claims on their brand name and original logo (in Japan), despite The Tiramisu Hero’s Japan outlet being around for some time.

The scrutiny of the case opened a floodgate of negative criticisms which also included allegations of plagiarism for artworks that were done years ago.

Although the future had seemed uncertain for Tiramisu Hero these past few years, everyone can rest easy now knowing that the good guys have won and that the lazing cat is back where it belongs 😸
