Kipling’s New K.Limited Collection Is A Fun Series Of Bags Made From Upcycled Fabric

With responsible, sustainable fashion being more of a talking point these days, we’re practically spoilt for choice here thanks to the array of apparel and accessories made with recycled fabrics. Kipling has a slightly different point of view though — in the new K.Limited collection, they’re instead taking leftover fabric, available stock that would’ve otherwise gone to waste, and crafted them into a series of casual, playful bags that play on the colourblock trend.

Each everyday backpack, gathered tote, and bumbag you see here is a result of thoughtful design, which combines colours and materials that make best use of leftover materials with as little wastage as possible, in order to create something entirely new. This also means the bags are limited in quantity.

The reimagining of design and materials is part of Kipling’s mission towards responsible choices that are lighter on the planet. As part of the initiative, Kipling will also be collecting pre-loved bags for donation to Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO), which support children and women who are victims of domestic violence. Drop by any of Kipling’s boutiques from now till 31 October to donate, while you’ll be able to receive a $50 shopping voucher with every donation as well.
