Sentosa Holds Inaugural Zentosa Fest This June, Featuring More Than 50 Wellness Experiences and Glamping By The Beach

As a lot of us have returned to the hustle and bustle that we were accustomed to before the pandemic, it can be easy to forget and neglect our overall wellbeing. This might be the reason why the folks at Sentosa are coming together with more than 30 partners from the wellness, leisure, health, and sports industry to bring you Sentosa’s inaugural wellness festival.

Aptly named the Zentosa Fest, the festival will be held from 3 to 30 June 2022, with more than 50 wellness experiences that would make a perfect island retreat not just for the adults but the whole family too. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect at the festival.

ZENTOSA FESTIVAL VILLAGE

From 3 to 19 June 2022, the breezy Palawan Green will be transformed into a unique beachfront Festival Village that will feature masterclasses from a line-up of wellness experts and personalities, sports workshops like the Make Every Move Count Workshop with accredited coaches (a movement assessment and interactive workshop), and outdoor performances by local acts.

Plus, don’t miss the annual Dad’s Day out on 18 and 19 June where families are invited to participate in a challenge that will incorporate various elements of a healthy and resilient family lifestyle.

GLAMPING BY THE BEACH

If you are looking for an outdoor staycation, you might want to book a tent at Sentosa’s first-ever overnight glamping by the beach. Located at Palawan Beach, your all-in-one clamping adventure includes a two-day-one-night stay by the waters for 2 to 4 in the glamping tent complete with 2 queen size beds, air coolers, housekeeping, 24 hours Security, complimentary breakfast for up to 4 pax, and 8 complimentary activities and workshops available at Zentosa Fest.

Glamping Tents are priced from $388 per night and can be booked here.

STRESS STOP

Take a moment and hit pause on reality as you enter the Stress Stop zone where you’ll find not only a space to relax but also activities to set your mind at ease. Here you’ll find an array of wellness programmes that range from yoga to pilates as well as taichi and sound bathing. There is even an aqua biking session which is a low-impact, full-body aqua workout that takes place in the waters!

FESTIVE MARKET

The Festive Market is curated in partnership with Sunday Social Market and brings together local farmers, cottage industries, food creators, and handicraft artisans to bring you a variety of health-conscious and eco-friendly brands under one roof. From The Better Milk’s Almond Milk or Tumeric Latte to Curated Culture’s sugar-free cold brew teas and Power Pops’ 100% all-natural handcrafted yoghurt popsicles, there’s bound to be something for everyone to discover.

The Festive Market is open on Fridays from 4pm to 8pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 8pm.

TUCKSHOP

What is a festival without food? With health being the focal point of the festival, the Tuckshop will feature a selection of curated menus from various food and beverage establishments that offer healthy and nutritious options such as a wholemeal pancake breakfast set, Korean air-friend boneless chicken, and fruit juices.

Expert clean-food chefs will also be conducting culinary classes and demonstrations to show you how to make clean-eating meals and find a diet that is best suited for your body. For more information on the activities at the Tuckshop, click here.
