The cult Sunday Bedding sheets are finally back in stock and there’s also new loungewear

A year ago, I discovered Sunday Bedding — bedsheets, duvet covers and pillowcases that are heavenly to sleep on; and the brand came along at the right time while most of Singapore was working from home and investing in small comforts like — that’s right — bedding. Sunday Bedding’s philosophy was to offer quality sheets at decent prices, and delivered to your doorstep. It was exactly what we all needed to feel better at home; to indulge in that small slice of happiness when we jump into bed at night.

If you’re new to the brand or just shopping for new sheets (and why not?), read our full story on Sunday Bedding and an interview with its co-founder here:

It’s now a year later and the brand is not just going strong, but gaining momentum, restocking on popular styles and colours, including the Bamboo Sheet Set in Sunny White. This is really the first set to invest in; the pristine white gives off clean hotel-bed vibes, while the 100% bamboo rayon material is suitable for Singapore’s warm weather, as it’s super absorbent and will easily wick away sweat.

If you’re after colour, Sunday Bedding recently launched a new shade called Slate Blue; it’s a cool blue shade with a silver tinge that looks gorgeous and inviting on its own, or stylish paired with other cool tones. Get inspired by these examples:

Sunday Bedding suggests using Slate Blue as a dark, neutral base, or play with it as an accent colour. Either way, you’re going to get bed envy from anyone who sees it.

To complement its best-selling bedding, Sunday Bedding launched its own range of loungewear in November 2021 called Sunday Loungewear. It’s the brand’s first foray into clothing, and features comfortable tops and bottoms made from end-of-roll bamboo sateen and 100% French Linen fabric sourced from Japan. We love that every piece is made ethically; they are cut and sewn by a third-generation, family-owned business in Hong Kong that is also SEDEX-certified.

There’s the Bamboo Sateen Hang Loose Button Top and Everyday Pants, that are both silky cool to the touch, and have a relaxed fit perfect for lounging at home in.

There’s also the French Linen Easy Tank Top and Off-Duty Shorts, which work well as both home daywear and sleepwear. The 100% French linen is sourced from Japan and adheres to strict Japanese industrial standards. It’s also been pre-washed for added softness, and best of all, the more you wash it, the softer it gets.

This month, the brand expands its loungewear range with new styles for both men and women. There’s a new French Linen Set and Chambray Set that both include a short-sleeved button shirt and shorts; and for men, they get their own Chambray Set that comes in a long-sleeved round-collar button shirt and long drawstring pants; all of which can be styled up or down for home or casual wear.
