Millennial pink? Not really. Say hello to a gleaming metallic pink that now adorns our favourite RIMOWA Original suitcases and Personal Cross-Body Bag. Called ‘quartz pink’, the new shade is inspired by rose quartz crystals, and is featured all over a capsule collection of the German luggage brand’s signature designs, grooved ridges and all.
Known for its healing properties, perhaps some of us would associate this new quartz shade with good vibes. Whether you’re into crystals or not, the finish on the aluminium shell of their suitcases is an interesting take on the usual mattes, or their polycarbonate and aluminium designs; it’s both vibrant and metallic-sleek. Special care and surface treatments have also been done to lock the pigment into the metal alloy, which ensures a lasting metallic sheen.
What the fashion set would love is that the collection includes the Personal Cross-Body Bag, available in a matching Quartz shade, if you’re into the whole coordinated look when you travel. If not, you’ll still be happy to note that the model comes with a removable leather strap and leather details in a complimentary shade of pink.

The RIMOWA Quartz range will be first available via an exclusive pop-up on Mytheresa for three months. It will then be available from 23 June at all RIMOWA store and online at RIMOWA.COM.
