Now, for more of a beach party vibe, LOEWE‘s summery sequin dresses make for a statement, though it’s their line of accessories that we can’t help but lust after, particularly when their signature bags come in playful ombré.
The Puzzle, Hammock, Amazona, Goya and more sport beautiful gradients, a dégradé effect, that mimic the sunsets of Ibiza, while the iconic Anagram is turned into a leather cut-out style on canvas totes. Here to turn up the heat is Versace’s La Vacanza collection, made to look “beautiful and seductive”, according to Donatella Versace herself. And she gets it right every time. Expect the Italian house’s barocco prints, for sure, now seen across bikini sets, even more silk shirts, printed silk scarves and swimming trunks.
For fun pops of colour against the sand, the La Medusa mini bag arrives in shades of vibrant blue, yellow, and sea green, while that gilded Medusa medallion hardware wan be found on beach slippers too. BURBERRY TB SUMMER MONOGRAM
Burberry’s now-classic house code gets even fresher. The TB Summer Monogram, designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, reflects both past and present in its design, done by merging classic checks with the sleek TB logo for a visually arresting new print, especially when hues of orange are introduced too.
To represent the launch, we see supermodel Gisele Bündchen fronting the campaign, as she poses effortlessly in front of unreleased portraits captured by photographer duo Luigi & Iango ten years ago. Naturally, she makes the monogram style look especially good, whether it’s on swimwear or a silk-blend bomber jacket. The range of pieces include sunglasses and a series of bags too, including the Lola Bag, Freya Tote, and a bucket bag style.

CELINE PLEIN SOLEIL
CELINE‘s summer series presents more of the classics, though there are beach ensembles of pastel-coloured bouclette cotton, swimwear sets, and light denim separates for avid sun-seekers. What does feel extra summery though are the accessories we are to pair them with.
The Cabas Thais in small or large styles in striped textile and calfskin remind us of beachside carnivals, while CELINE’s Classic Paniers see the hand-braided basket bags with bright and breezy colours on its Triomphe logo. “For the warm season”, says Gucci, though we can imagine these ready-to-wear and accessories extending well beyond summer, seeing how we’re essentially living in the tropics.
