Longchamp Goes Eco-Conscious Chic With The New Le Pliage® Re-Play Bags

We’ve all been trying to do our part for the planet by being conscious of our everyday practices. As for the fashion industry, they’re also striving to be just as sustainable, for instance, by reducing and reusing fabric waste left over from the production of their collections.

In an effort to further utilise end-of-the-roll materials as responsibly as possible, Longchamp has come up with a simple but ingenious solution in an all-new bag collection — the Le Pliage® Re-Play.
.

Colourful and eco-conscious, the Le Pliage® Re-Play comes in three different bag types, namely the Top Handle Bag ($155), Shoulder Bag ($125) and Crossbody Bag ($135). Each piece combines two different colours from their end-of-the-roll nylon canvas with a third colour of Russian leather trim.

The Le Pliage® Re-Play series is available in nine different colour combinations and in varying quantities in boutiques across the world. Unlike previous limited edition collections, the Le Pliage® Re-Play is quite literally limited since it’s dependent on the remaining stocks of canvas and leather. Once these are exhausted, these bags will not be reproduced.

Here’s a closer look at the pieces from Le Pliage® Re-Play.
