LomoApparat 21 mm Wide-angle Camera is a fun, experimental film camera in an Italian leather design

Lomography has just released the LomoApparat, a film camera with a 21mm wide-angle lens with heaps of cool plasticky attachments that make it look even cooler. The camera uses 35mm film, has 10 aperture stops, a shutter speed of 1/100, a built-in flash and runs on 1 AA battery. It’s easy to use, but the real fun comes with the attachments.

The Kaleidoscope and Splitzer lens attachments give unpredictable experimental effects and you can create unique multiple-exposure compositions. There’s also five included coloured gel filter sliders, and a 0.2m close-up lens so you can get those macro shots.

If you’re thinking of buying this (either to use or to just have it sit pretty on your shelf — we won’t judge!), get the Neubau Edition, which is dressed in an exclusive Italian leather design. The colour combination and squarish retro styling make for one really stylish looking gadget.
