The Bugaboo Fox 5 has the best suspension in any stroller yet, with a one-hand, one-second fold

It’s been a year since Bugaboo announced the Fox 3 — an all-purpose, go-anywhere stroller. It had a “fingertip-light” push that made it effortless to cart around even the heaviest toddler (up to 22kg), plus it had all the bells and whistles we’ve come to expect from Bugaboo prams. So just when we thought the Fox 3 was everything a stroller should be, along comes the Fox 5 — the ultimate all-terrain stroller with advanced suspension and manoeuvrability.

This stroller is suitable for babies and kids aged 0-4 years old, has a fully convertible design from a bassinet to chair, and the child can be faced either way, toward you or toward the world.

What’s new and improved is the advanced four-wheel suspension that’s the best in any Bugaboo stroller — and arguably any stroller available today. The large, puncture-proof tyres are also ideal for any terrain (including grass, gravel and cobblestones), and together with the incredible suspension, it’s a bump-free, smooth ride for babies and kids. Turning is also a breeze — and effortless, like its predecessor. And because it moves so smoothly, you’ll be surprised at the small turning radius required to change direction.

Another improved feature is the one-hand, one-second fold. The previous version required two hands to fold it down to a self-standing position. This model just needs the effort of one hold to push and pull on the handlebar and button, to collapse and fold. And what’s incredible is that it’s not just simple to do, it’s really fast; after some practice, you’ll be folding this in one second and amazing everyone around you watching. The stroller also stands on its own, which is a very practical feature in any pram.
